The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) jointly with the IU Health Physicians (IUHP), are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and team-oriented individual for the position of Director of the Molecular Pathology Division.
This position will focus on shaping and further developing molecular pathology diagnostics and providing molecular pathology leadership in institutional genomics programs such as Precision Health Initiative. The priority is the somatic genetic testing and companion diagnostics in solid tumors including the development and validation of new diagnostic assays using NGS, PCR, FISH, and other molecular techniques. Additional responsibilities will include laboratory oversight and regulatory compliance, clinical consultations, and participation in tumor boards.
Candidates with established molecular pathology experience including NGS assay development, and strong clinical or translational research interests are strongly encouraged to apply.
