ECU Health is a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people in 29 eastern North Carolina counties. Position Summary
The ECU Health Medical Center Public Safety Officer performs the complete range of security services provided to the patients, visitors, and staff of ECUH MC.
As the Public Safety Officer, you will:

Demonstrate acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors

Meet professional standards

Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff

Maintain and monitor Metal Detector

Provide door unlocks to staff

Provide releases for Morgue to Funeral Directors

Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School or greater degree is required
-
Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the ECU Health required insurance limits

Zero to two years related experience

Monday - Friday (5:45 am - 5:45 pm)

Required to work rotational weekends
