We are a tax and accounting practice in the financial district of NYC looking for an administrative assistant.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sending and responding to client emails
- Assisting with organizing tax files, address tax notices, and tax related projects
- Tracking projects and what needs to be accomplished
- Preparing memos, letters, and other documents
- Answering all incoming and outgoing calls, maintaining logs and fielding calls as
needed
- Performing other duties as requested
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Organizational skills and attention to details
- Able to multi task, and work independently
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Verbal skills as you will be in communication with a variety of clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel, and Word
- 1 or 2 years working in a tax or accounting office preferable
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, tax software and general computer skills is a plus
This position is for in office only, Monday through Friday. Hours to be discussed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
