Position Overview
As an In-Store Product Taster / Merchandiser / Events Support, you will be the face of Sheringham Distillery in retail environments and at various events. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting product tastings, merchandising our products to ensure they are presented appealingly, and supporting events to create memorable experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Product Tasting:
· Conduct in-store tastings to educate customers about our products.
· Engage customers with product knowledge and brand stories.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor laws and regulations.
Merchandising:
· Ensure our products are prominently displayed and well-stocked in retail locations.
· Create visually appealing displays that attract customer attention.
· Maintain inventory and report stock levels to ensure timely replenishments.
Events Support:
· Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
· Represent Sheringham Distillery at festivals, tastings, and other promotional events.
· Engage with event attendees, providing product samples and information.
Qualifications:
· Passion for and knowledge of craft spirits and the beverage industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or events is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
