What we need
We’re currently looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales team. This team member will be focused on driving revenue growth by managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals for our Small Medium Business segment. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, understanding their needs, presenting tailored proposals, and negotiating contracts. Your ability to build rapport and effectively communicate value propositions will be crucial to your success in this role.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience selling software/SaaS solutions.
- Experience selling to broadband service providers preferred.
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle sales, exceeding quotas and consistently closing deals.
- A self-starter, driven to gain mastery on various features and concepts.
- Excellent collaborator and team player
- Highly attentive to detail.
- Advanced communication and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experienced with industry CRM tools (Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, etc.).
- Resourceful, resilient, persistent.
- Ability to convert summarized suggestions into complete ideas.
- A growth and strategic mindset that is creative and flexible.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time between Canada and the United States. Travel is based on the needs of the business and at times may increase beyond 25%.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discovery calls and meetings to understand clients' business challenges, goals, and requirements.
- Solution Presentation: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate contracts and pricing terms to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems. Provide regular sales forecasts to management.
- Collaborate: Work closely with other sales team members and cross-functional team.
- Market Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Other things you'll need.
You’ll need a quiet, professional-looking place to work. For most of our team, this is provided at home in a dedicated office, bedroom, or some other secluded space you can use to get work done. A small portion of our staff rent office space or use some kind of shared working environment. If you’ll need something like this, let’s talk about it upfront.
You’ll need a good Internet connection. Since we’re fully remote, we communicate via email, Slack, and video chats, and most of the work we do requires being online.
We’re currently only hiring in the USA and Canada. This is a full-time position. No contractors, recruiting agencies, or applicants outside North America.
