We are seeking a friendly Client Services Coordinator to provide support to our clients with daily activities.
Summary of Position: The Client Services Coordinator ensures that all significant activities on behalf of clients, guardians, and families are properly and comprehensively documented and otherwise ensures compliance with the requirements of the funding source as well as the expectations specified in KANDU’s policies and procedures. In addition, the coordinator will assist with on-the-job training for clients and the development of tools to allow the client to progress towards independence in employment. The Client Services Coordinator will also provide support and training to other departments as it relates to approaches and techniques necessary for the success of KANDU clients. The coordinator will assist the client with work in the community when appropriate and needed.
Qualifications: 3-5 years experience working with disabled or disadvantaged populations, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Special Education, or related field of study is helpful. However, Relevant post-high school education and/or previous work experience and the ability to demonstrate functional knowledge of behavior principles and related program design may be substituted. Ideal candidate will have ability to write routine reports and correspondence, along with excellent listening skills and ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Possession of a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and insurance.

- Maintain confidentiality regarding clients and families in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain compassion and respect for all clients and their families.
- Advocate for needs and rights of those serving
- Keep an accurate record of client services including all necessary documentation related to legal records, medical record, consents, and authorizations
- Provide opportunities to clients to improve or develop job and non-job skills and increase preparedness for community integrated employment
- Work closely with various KANDU departments and programs to lead the client to success in and out of the workforce
- Respond to various client behaviors and/or medical needs requiring intervention
- Communicate incidents of critical and serious nature to Client Services Director and care team
- Evaluate and document client progress, including issues of performance, behaviors and/or medical concerns
- Complete written progress reports and service plans to be submitted to care teams, counselors and funding sources
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients, coworkers, and family/guardians of clients.
- Understand and assist with compliance related to Department of Labor regulations
- Maintain adherence to the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
Reports to the Client Services Manager
Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Must be able to flex within a workweek to avoid overtime and allow for occasional client service activities to occur outside of usual business hours.
