Job Summary:
Provide Quality support to execute and recommend for improvement those elements of the Quality Management System that impact Operations, such as incoming purchased raw materials, in-process inspection, and outgoing customer parts.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving Inspection, Final Inspection, testing support, and other Quality Control duties, as assigned.
- Performs duties and responsibilities to verify compliance of product, process, and paperwork through visual, variables, and attribute inspection to all specifications and adherence/conformance to applicable statutory, regulatory and customer specifications and standards and Industry (AS9100) and TFI Quality Management System (QMS) processes & practices.
- Documents all non-conformances on Quality Logs and communicates non-conformance occurrences to the appropriate Process Technicians, Work Cell Teams, and Quality/Production Management. For supplier parts, ensures that NCRs, ICARs and/or SCARs are initiated as required.
- Performs detailed measurement inspections with the appropriate measurement gages to include but not limited to: micrometers, calipers, height gages, thread gages, and linear scales to ensure compliance to specifications.
- Ensures data integrity, timeliness, and inspection compliance status reporting per the appropriate Inspection PCP and records inspection data on appropriate forms.
- Supports the non-conforming material control process through defect identification and facilitating PMRB actions such as physical part tagging, line checks, stock purges, scrapping actions or other PMRB Dispositions.
- Updates and records, in a timely fashion, job related information in our systems (e.g., SAGE or other Quality tracking systems).
- Performs other Quality related duties as assigned by Management or its representatives.
Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/ quality, preferred)

- Blueprint Reading
- Math Skills
- Working knowledge of basic measuring equipment: micrometer, calipers, scale

Requirements:
- Annual Vision test, per specifications.
- Periodic Competency Assessments
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Training preferred: Receiving, Source, Roving/In-process and/or Final Inspection
- ASQ certification, a plus
- Internal Auditor certification, a plus'
