The Warehouse Supervisor supports the Plant Manager/ and or General Manager and oversees all shop operation in the receiving/shipping area, sorting area, and production area for tires, wheels, and assembled product. Ensure team members are working safe and following all safety, quality, and security guidelines. Comfort level working in a diverse, fast paced environment. Adhere to company guidelines and operational policies.
Essential Functions:
1. Ensure that a Sales order/ Back order report is printed daily.
2. Check that the shipping log is updated daily.
3. Insure that account receivable receives all documents at the end of each day.
4. Ensure that all products that are shipped or received have been correctly identified and authorized.
5. Check that the receiving log is updated daily.
6. Ensure that warehouse transfers are done in a timely way.
7. Responsible for scheduling trucks in/out.
8. Maintain and update MSDS sheets.
9. Purchase all warehouse supplies.
10. Ensure warehouse meets all OSHA requirements.
11. Ensure product locator is updated daily.
12. Responsible for kitting all jobs.
13. Will advise facility manager of all RGA’s upon arrival.
14. Schedule daily duties for the warehouse team.
15. Responsible for housekeeping in the warehouse, tire pad and yard.
16. Keep all warehouse doors secured- When leaving the building ensure all doors are secured from the inside – constant focus on potential theft.
17. Be alert and vigilante regarding safety procedures: wear safety belts and eye protection as required.
18. Execute WIP Schedule and control all Mounting jobs.
19. Interacts with the customers as needed.
20. Maintain a safe and clean working area.
21. Work with management to interview and train new employees and sit in on reviews.
22. Maintains workflow based on the customer’s demand.
23. Complete wheel inspections and reports for containers coming in. Willingness to be part of a team- performing other duties as necessary.
24. Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports.
25. Train others on daily work assignments when needed.
26. Utilize hand tools, power equipment and machinery to assist in the setup, processing, and production of all company products with required training.
27. Maintain productivity and quality at the required levels for each task.

Required Skills / Abilities:
1. High School degree or equivalent education experience
2. Must be 18 years of age.

Supervisory Responsibility:
1. This position oversees all warehouse and plant personnel.
2. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a manufacturing environment. At times, the employee will be exposed to manufacturing environment, including forklift traffic, fumes, noise, and operating manufacturing equipment.
Physical Demands:
1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to squat. Must be able to bend at the knees, and flexible enough to work in awkward positions.
2. Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
3. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
4. Must be able tolerate fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
5. Must be able to work with hands and have the manual dexterity to use misc. hand tools (i.e. hammer, screwdriver etc.).
6. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
7. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. May also require some weekend work.
