We are seeking a qualified Wealth Management Associate (2-5 years in the business) to join our growing, independently affiliated firm in Clifton Park, NY. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package with 401k and opportunities for incentives and career growth within our organization.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES:

Opportunity to partner with firm Advisors to work together on client relationships with the potential to work with existing and new firm clients.

Deliver an outstanding client experience to the firm's existing client base while adding capacity and leveraging newly identified opportunities.

Develop a thorough understanding of each client's financial situation to create and deliver a suitable strategy based upon the firm’s investment philosophy, client needs and objectives.

Identify the appropriate risk tolerance, discuss appropriate savings or spending strategies, and provide additional financial planning strategies as needed.

Provide both verbal and written plans to communicate the recommended strategies following firm guidelines.

Follow firm processes and procedures for tracking client activities, maintain detailed notes in the CRM system regarding all client interactions and respond in a timely fashion to all client inquiries through phone and email.

Promote professional development by conducting research on various financial products and services, attending meetings with product sponsors and maintaining an in-depth understanding of financial planning, capital markets and the financial services industry. Stay abreast of significant changes and developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of investments and financial services.

Maintain all required licenses and designations.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory and departmental policies, and procedures.

Assist clients with account management and service when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of two to five (2-5) years of related financial planning and client relationship management experience

4-year related degree

FINRA Series 7, 66 preferred

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
