Small property management office in Doylestown is seeking an experienced accounting clerk for a full time position (34 hrs week). Hours are Mon-Thurs 9:30am-5pm, Fri 9:30am-4pm. Salary is $22-$25 hr.
Job Duties:
- Collection and correct allocation of payments
- Process transfers, security deposits and last month's rent
- Prepare reimbursement request for security before month end
- Monitor accounts for nonpayment, delayed payments or other irregularities
- Post any outstanding charges to tenant ledger.
- Establish and control ACH and credit card deposits
- Maintain status of collections
- Send out tenant delinquency letters
- Bookkeeping and bill paying for a variety of entities
- Account reconciliations
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Perform month-end functions
- Updating various Excel tracking spreadsheets
- Maintain the integrity of the software codes posting to the general ledger
- Ability to exercise independent discretion on matters of significance on a daily basis
- Special projects
- Willing to fill in at other necessary local offices
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel and Word
· Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
· 5 years accounting experience
· Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication skills

- Excellent written and verbal skills
· Excellent phone skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively
· Self-motivated, able to work in a team or independently
· Dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
