Role Summary
The IDSI Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing existing external providers and finding qualified vendors when required. They are accountable for monitoring and measuring provider performance to quality objectives.

Responsibilities and Skills Include:
· Plan and coordinate the procurement of goods around multiple project schedules.
· Manage inventory levels to mitigate the Company’s exposure to inventory risk.
· Negotiate with external providers to obtain best possible pricing and lead times.
· Manage relationships with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and product service and quality.
· Assist with the creation of part numbers, maintain parts master list and parts lists.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent problem solving and time management skills
· High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
· Able to effectively multitask across one or more projects at any one time either individually or as part of a cross functional team.
