This position is an integral part of the Disciple Development Team and partners with all staff and volunteers to build disciples and foster spiritual maturity through relational ministry, formation programs, and outreach opportunities. The team encourages parishioners from diverse walks at every point in their lives to know the love of Christ and the freedom in following his will.

The Role You Play
● Foster a culture of evangelization and discipleship for children (K-5) and their families.
● Leverage well-developed and best practice curriculum (i.e., Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) to drive and executeassociated ministries of religious education and youth ministry, including sacramental preparation program.
● Partner with various Youth Ministries to develop a roadmap that connects each journey allowing for one seamlessand effective experience from baptism through adulthood.
● Foster an environment of community and ministry through effective programs, projects, and events by buildingrelationships with and raising up lay leaders and parents (volunteers and catechists).
● Partner with programs that serve those not yet in our pews to develop a roadmap for families seeking or returningto faith.
● Work with and take responsibility for the children’s ministry support committees/teams led by parents who alignwith the SJN vision.
Qualifications
