The Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician II will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Atlanta, GA area. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to work independently.
- Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Order and replace parts as needed
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Provide training to healthcare staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Associate's degree in biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment
- Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
- Must pass background and drug screen.
