Our Phoenix, AZ claims office is currently hiring experienced Auto Bodily Injury Claims Representative positions to handle California claims - Applicants must reside in greater Phoenix area. This is a HYBRID position, with a minimum of 2-3 days in the office upon completion of 3 weeks of office training. Must have claims experience of 2 plus years. Duties & Responsibilities:
You will play a crucial role in adjusting non-attorney represented and attorney represented injury claims. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with the claims staff to ensure timely resolution. You will conduct thorough coverage/liability investigations to arrive at a fair settlement, including interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses. Establish initial reserves for all potential exposures and adjust as appropriate throughout the claim. Must have the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and exercise good judgment. Assume handling of injury claims and work to conclusion within authority.
Develop plan of action to proactively resolve claims and effectively manage pending claim files. Comply with state specific regulations and state fair claim practices requirements. Documents and communicates all claims activities timely and effectively and in a manner which supports the outcome of the claims file. Provide excellent customer service including keeping appropriate parties updated throughout the claim’s adjustment process. Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities. Sends appropriate correspondence and communicates with customers and repair facilities. Negotiate with claimants and attorneys to settle bodily injury claims.
Required Skills:
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service through proactive claims handling. Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills, be able to multi-task, and have effective negotiating skills. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships within department, across the organization and with external customers. Must possess strong understanding of property and casualty insurance and claims handling process. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Upholds organizational values, treats others with respect and works with integrity and ethically. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data entry skills. Self-motivated team player.
Position Qualifications: 2+ years of bodily injury claims adjusting experience. Experience in non-standard auto in the State of California and Texas auto claims a plus.
Schedule: Hybrid work schedule that allows 2-3 days of remote work each week. Must be available during core business hours.
