We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team! We are a personal injury law firm that specializes in automobile, motorcycle, dog bite and premise liability cases.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will provide clerical and research support services to our attorneys. This will include document preparation, research, investigations, fact-checking and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
- Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, case evaluation and facilitation evaluation packages, affidavits, and interrogatories, and file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including attending trials and hearings.
- Help to prepare responses for motions and facilitations/mediations.
- Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
- Compile trial exhibits, files, notebooks, and other documents.
- Coordinate subpoena deliveries.
- Manages discovery between parties.
- Assist in managing electronic and physical filing systems.

Experience:
- A paralegal certificate is highly preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience working full-time as a paralegal is required.
- An associate degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred.
