Job Overview: The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Manager in executing social media strategies, creating content, and engaging with our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has a keen eye for detail, and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of social media campaigns.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (text, images, videos, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports on campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing goals and initiatives.
- Assist in the development of social media calendars and scheduling posts using social media management tools.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support in organizing and coordinating social media events, giveaways, and promotions.
- Assist with other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
