ROVING TEACHER
Full-Time Position
Salary (Pay depends on permit held):
Master Teacher: $29.02 to $32.65/hr. (approximately $60,362 to $67,912 annually)
Teacher: $25.00 to $28.15/hr. (approximately $52,000 to $58,552 annually)
Job Summary: Fills in during the absence of center staff or as additional staff when there is a need or as assigned. Supervises and instructs children enrolled in preschool and/or childcare programs. Is responsible for the supervision of an Instructional Assistant and care of children in a group as assigned. The position includes working with children ages 2-3.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: 24 core units of early childhood education (ECE) or child development (child/human growth & development, child/family/community or child and family relations and program and curriculum) and 16 General Education (GE) units.
Credential: Minimum Requirement: Current Teacher Child Development Permit, issued by California on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Minimum Requirement: 12 months in an ECE or school age center setting.
Certification: Current Infant/Child/Adult CPR and Pediatric First Aid as well as Health and Safety in the child care setting course.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid CA. Driver License, Registered and Insured Vehicle.
- Criminal Clearance: Fingerprinting is required for this position. The record for Background clearance is checked by the FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Index.
