Exciting opportunity for a customer service oriented, friendly, outgoing individual to work as a guest service agent at our busy hotel located in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Flexibility REQUIRED, a mix of day & evening shifts is to be expected.
The ideal candidate must multi-task effectively and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in our property management system SPI and timeshare environments is a plus, but not necessary. The qualified individual must have sound computer and communication skills. Most importantly, we are seeking someone who cares for exceptional customer service as much as we do!
Overall Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service.
Verify arrival and departure reports.
Follow safety and emergency procedures.
Balance transactions to close shift.
Make reservations over the phone and through our channel manager.
Checking guests in/out.
Take care of in house guest requests, questions and concerns.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of previous Hotel front desk experience needed.
Excellent customer service.
Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
Works well with others.
Be able to communicate with guests and coworkers.
Problem solving skills.
Always maintain professional behavior.
Excellent computer Skills and Microsoft Word functionality.
Be willing to learn and improve in all aspects of hospitality services.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
