Job Summary:
As an Asset Manager, you will make ample use of your existing analytical, communication, and time management skills while also developing new ones as part of PRC’s Portfolio Management team. This will include updating, analyzing, and preparing various reports for management. This colleague will chiefly be responsible for asset risk of new transactions and remarketing returning equipment. The Asset Manager shall be able to identify and mitigate risk with opportunities that PRC uncovers. The colleague will be interfacing as well as supporting the Portfolio Management team as well as other departments throughout the company including, but not limited to, Accounting, Opportunity Management, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
New Lease Pricing
- Research estimated wholesale values for equipment directed by Opportunity Management.
- Assist in providing wholesale pricing to the Pricing Specialist.
- Communicate with Management all special equipment issues.
- Review “Specifications Pending” opportunities for unusual equipment.
Remarketing
- Maintain relationships with remarketers.
- Continue to grow remarketer database, increasing diversification.
- Negotiate with third parties for equipment purchases. Maximize every equipment sale.
- Resolve issues if the audit process is not completed in a timely manner.
- Verify audits vs. the ELS return provisions.
- Communicate all returns, damages, and chargebacks with the Portfolio Specialist.
- Ensure PRC has knowledge of the current market price for off lease equipment.
- Request 3rd party invoices.
- Backup for Portfolio Analysts.
- Other tasks or projects as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Positive work attitude and approach to daily tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, Pivots, various formulas a plus).
