Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in an emergency room, rapid response team, or as a paramedic to join our clinic specializing in the prevention and treatment of neurological disorders.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing rapid and emergency care when necessary, as well as supervise the EMT/Paramedic team.
The ideal candidate will provide specialized and personable treatment, ensuring patients' unique needs are met with the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate and high-quality care to patients in urgent situations within a clinical setting.
- Respond rapidly and efficiently to medical emergencies, utilizing advanced clinical skills and quick decision-making abilities.
- Lift, move, and transport patients weighing up to 125 pounds, both manually and using assistive devices.
- Deliver specialized treatment to patients with serious health conditions, ensuring attention to detail and a high standard of care.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment plans.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including CPR and other life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, medications, and progress notes.
- Protect proprietary and confidential company information and adhere to HIPAA rules.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards for documentation and reporting.
- Work 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with required flexibility between 8 AM and 7 PM or until the end of the workday; some weekends may be required.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current Florida state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting or rapid response team.
- Demonstrated ability to lift and carry patients and equipment up to 125 pounds.
- Strong physical endurance and the ability to perform tasks requiring significant strength and stamina.
- Proven ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Rapid response experience in handling medical emergencies.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Physical Requirements:

- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting during shifts.
- Use of mechanical aids and team lifting protocols to ensure safety.
