The Opportunity
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers primarily by phone and email to increase sales of an organization’s products and or services. You will also perform routine duties required to receive and complete orders from customers or Outside Sales Reps using standard forms and following routing procedures, information such as stock number, quantity, and prices. This role is responsible for maintaining files on quotes and orders, send acknowledgements of quotes/orders and provide support to customers over the phone and may conduct field visits if necessary. You will report directly to the Supervisor, Inside Sales.
What You Will Do
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound customer calls
- Understand our customer’s needs and requirements.
- Route qualified new sales opportunities to appropriate District Manager
- Research your accounts, know your customer base and their product.
- Ability to prioritize daily workload and process orders and quotes efficiently and accurately.
- Team with other Customer Service Representative’s to channel leads or projects to ensure deals are closed and kept at MMI Door
- Ability to perform online demos and help with customer configurators and other selling tools in the field.
- Ability to identify and close additional purchases of products and services with the customer base.
- Keep management informed of all activity with customer base outside of normal procedures.
- Work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demands.
- Ability to work through difficult requests from customers and find resolve.
Who You Are
- HS Diploma required.
- Math, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency
- Strong phone presence & strong listening skills
- Efficient project management skills, with a strong ability to focus and multitask.
