Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a classroom of preschool-aged children, providing a safe and nurturing environment
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and events
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a preschool, daycare, or educational setting
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
- Proficiency in math concepts for early childhood education
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
- Experience in physical education activities for young children
