The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment such as conveyors, shredders, and general plant maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical systems on equipment including shredders and conveyors.
- Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on components and systems, including building plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and pump rebuilding and repair.
- Perform welding and fabricating to repair and build secondary equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive equipment maintenance records.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant industrial maintenance.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proficiency in reading precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
- Ability to climb ladders and structures; must be able to tolerate heights.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shift starting at 7 a.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
