Day to Day
You will work with business teams and legal and data protection colleagues to mitigate risk and exposure to Indeed and its Staffing affiliates by:
- Building relationships with Product, Engineering, Marketing, HR, and Operations teams within Indeed, Indeed Flex, and Indeed Hire
- Proactively reviewing staffing-related products, features, and operations for legal compliance
- Responding to legal inquiries from the business about product offerings
- Partnering with analysts and in-house attorneys to produce legal guidance relating to product, employment, marketing, and privacy compliance
- Ensuring products, terms of service, and policies align with legal guidance provided
- Contributing to projects and initiatives in support of Legal’s OKRs and business strategies
Responsibilities
- Investigate, prioritize, and manage inbound requests for legal review from various business teams
- Present risk analysis and product review research to attorneys
- Document legal recommendations and communicate them to business teams
- Drive process improvements within the Legal team and with other departments
- Develop and maintain compliance-focused resources for Legal and business teams
- Represent the Legal team in cross-functional projects and ensure Legal’s requirements are understood and implemented
- Support the team in ad hoc research and projects as necessary
Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years demonstrated work experience in a dynamic environment; experience in HR Tech or Tech industry is a plus
- Experience designing and implementing new organizational procedures
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous environment with great attention to detail
- Collaborative, service-oriented influence and communication skills
- Self-directed, organized and capable of handling complex projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Austin 60,000 - 87,000 USD per year
New York City Metro Area 71,000 - 103,000 USD per year
United States Remote 60,000 - 87,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
