Job Title: Production Specialist
Location : Dallas OR
3 months contract - W2
Operating batching equipment:
The primary function is to setup and operate batch tanks, ensure equipment is clean and sanitized, be aware and identify any equipment issues. Weigh raw materials and collect samples, and label products with the required information. Monitor the production process, notify the supervisor of any issues. Consult the supervisor or production team to find the best solution and document changes.
Operating dryers:
The primary function of a dryer operator having basic computer skills and recording data from all stages of the production process. Perform various types of testing, such as water activity, moisture testing, to ensure the product meets specification. Ensure equipment is clean and sanitized, monitor the production process, notify the supervisor of any issues. Consult with a supervisor or production team to find the best solution, document changes, and label products with the required information.
Operating flake milling rooms:
The primary function of milling flake rooms is utilizing a computer for data entry, performing basic math calculations and passing respirator fit test. Setup and operation of equipment, ensure equipment is clean and sanitized and labeling products with the required information. Monitor the production process, notify the supervisor of any issues. Consult the supervisor or production team to find the best solution and document changes.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, read and write in English to exchange information. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, bend at the waist, stoop, kneel, and crouch to the ground. Taste and smell, perform work that involves occasionally lifting, pushing, and or pulling of objects which may approximate 75 lbs. Some situations may require pushing or pulling material drums weighing up to 450 lbs. with a support device. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Environmental Exposure:
The work environment may cause exposure to minor to moderate noise levels due to the usage of industrial equipment.
Position requires exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity due to working in walk-in refrigeration and freezer units.
