As an IT Support Specialist at Cerchez Infotech, you will be the first point of contact for our team’s technical needs, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems. Your role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing technical support to employees, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and manage support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, setting up their workstations and providing necessary training.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage hardware/software upgrades.
- Provide guidance and training to users on IT best practices and security protocols.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of company servers and cloud services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
