Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or hold the privilege to practice in Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). This position requires either one year of registered nursing experience or a bachelor’s/graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution. The RN will perform a variety of nursing duties under general supervision, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care and procedures as per physicians' orders and established nursing protocols.
- Administer medications accurately according to physicians' instructions and monitor for potential side effects, evaluating overall effectiveness.
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and other emergency responses as required.
- Participate actively in emergency response settings, providing immediate and effective care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all treatments and medications are documented correctly.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing health care needs and preventive care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or hold a privilege to practice in Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- One year of registered nursing experience
- A bachelor’s or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- AHA BLS
- Proficiency in administering medications, performing emergency procedures (BLS, CPR), and providing patient education.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
