Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top talent to join the OptaHub ecosystem as active resellers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process by vetting prospective candidates and convincing them of the benefits of using OptaHub. This includes graphic designers, promotional product distributors, ad agency owners, and existing printers.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize provided lists of qualified resellers to identify and attract candidates interested in our SaaS-enabled platform for instant pricing and ordering of printing, promotional products, apparel, and custom bid projects.
- Outreach and Engagement: Engage with potential candidates through cold calling, text messaging using Ava Chato, and building Discord communities for like-minded individuals.
- Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct software demos, create Loom videos to explain the benefits of OptaMark and OptaHub, and onboard new resellers.
- Relationship Building: Maintain ongoing dialogue with prospective resellers and build strong relationships.
- Quota Management: Aim to meet the quota of fulfilling 25 recruits within the next 12 months, focusing on individuals generating over $250,000 a year in top-line revenue.
- CRM Management: Monitor and update information in the CRM to track recruitment progress.
- Community Building: Create and manage Discord channels or communities to use as recruiting mechanisms.
- HR Functions: Assist in onboarding new recruits, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Provide support in developing training programs and career development plans for new hires.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the tech or promotional products industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Ability to conduct compelling product demonstrations and create engaging Loom videos.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with cold calling and follow-through.
- Familiarity with using text messaging software (e.g., Ava Chato) for recruitment.
- Knowledge of HR functions, including onboarding, employee records management, and training development.
