MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
As an engineer at Dynaflex Products, you will have the opportunity to join a tight knit team & utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop new as well as improve upon existing processes and products in a fast paced production facility. Dynaflex Products is a 50 year established, family owned company focused on delivering the highest quality products within our industry and market segment. In your role as a production engineer, you will own the relationship between our engineering department and production team. You will provide input into the design and development of new and existing exhaust systems and accessories plus take a lead role in manufacturing and integration within production on our current and new products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide engineering support for product design and process improvements to improve manufacturing efficiency, ensure product quality, and lower costs for new and existing products
- Communicate on a daily basis with supporting departments such as production, executive management, maintenance, quality, and planning to ensure that product is delivered on time to the correct quantities
- Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, and specifications
- Create new drawings as needed for existing and new products
- Use project management skills and tools to investigate and lead projects for alternate component technologies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability
- Use project management skills and tools to manage all new product projects for new exhaust kits, parts assemblies, accessories
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience from industry or participation in collegiate engineering or research projects
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with CNC machinery (mill, waterjet, laser cutter, press brake, lathe)
- Experience with mandrel bending, cutting, welding (manual & robotic), metal finishing
- Experience with CAM programming (HSMWorks, MasterCAM, Trutops by Trumpf, Flow Path / Cut)
- CAD experience (Solidworks)
- Design for manufacturability and assembly experience
- Fixture design experience
- Tooling design experience
- Knowledge of Google products; drive, sheets, docs, calendar
- Microsoft office suite
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
