Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hardware Technician located in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to engineering teams, troubleshooting issues, identifying and resolving problems
- Assist with hardware design, setup, execution, and documentation of tests and experiments
- Own the analysis of prototype failures and field returns. This may involve disassembly, inspection, inspection, electrical testing, and data analysis to identify the root causes of failures. Collaborate with the team to develop corrective actions and execute those.
- Assist with preparation of equipment and materials for various hardware prototype demonstrations.
- Own the process improvement aspect of the hardware experiments setup.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in EE/ME or related fields. Associate's degree in EE/ME or a related field, or equivalent experience, will be considered.
- Proficiency ins basic engineering principles, testing methodologies, data collection, and technical documentation.
- Experience with electronics assembly and rework, including soldering, component identification and selection, and adherence to IPC standards.
- Proficiency with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers.
- Basic working knowledge of G suite application systems (docs, sheets, slides) for content creation and data analysis.
- Some basic knowledge of database systems and programming is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Teamwork and Communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, maintaining flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- References will be required.
- Familiarity with RF technologies (especially BLE, LTE, RFID) is a big plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
