Only candidates in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Southern Westchester will be considered
Entry level Front Desk works per diem (as needed), mostly weekends, holidays, and a few weekdays. This position reports to the Front Desk/Agency Supervisor/Program Director. The duties and responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Possess full complete knowledge of the agency’s policies and procedure regarding maintaining a safe residential environment for clients and staff.
- Excellent ability to comprehend program house rules, clients' rights, visitation rules, and building safety rules.
- Ensure safety and maintain prominent levels of standards for the clients.
- Make rounds of the facility to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Ability to participate in in-service training for staff. Attend all shift meetings, training sessions, conferences, and all meetings as deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Director.
- Documenting/logging, maintaining, and tracking incidents.
- Communicate to other staff and program director in the event of critical incident and/or emergency.
- Schedule needed is mostly weekends, holidays, and some weekdays
Requirements
- Ability to work around the homeless/substance abuse population required.
- A minimum of High School Diploma/GED; some college a plus.
- Computer and typing skills a plus
- Experience working in a security capacity or nightclub/bar bouncer highly preferred

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Security: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
