Position Overview: As a Glazing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of glazing projects from inception to delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple glazing projects simultaneously, from initial planning through project closeout.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Effectively communicate project status updates, issues, and resolutions to internal teams and clients.
- Oversee safety compliance on project sites and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience managing glazing projects in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of glazing materials, techniques, and installation methods.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, PartnerPak, True Project Management) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
