Downing Displays, a leader in the design and fabrication of custom trade show exhibits, is seeking an Account Executive for our Milford, OH office. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling custom tradeshow exhibits, graphics and services. This is the perfect job for a salesperson interested in a creative selling experience. The Account Executive position requires the ability to understand a client’s marketing and branding objectives to then leverage them in the design of their tradeshow exhibits, corporate environments, and custom retail fixtures. The Account Executive must be able to instill trust in customers by providing creative solutions and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- New Business Development - prospecting, qualifying, and developing new accounts
- Manage existing clients exhibit program
- Maintain ongoing communications with existing clients to solidify partnerships
- Cultivate ongoing communications with companies to develop new partnerships
- Achieve and maintain sales goals
- Provide feedback from clients on products and services
- Overnight travel for client visits and trade shows
Qualifications or skills required:
- Self-motivated with desire to succeed
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with existing and new clients
- Good negotiating skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated B2B sales experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Creativity is a plus
