Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong technical background, and proven experience in managing complex projects within the engineering domain. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, from conception to completion, while maintaining strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Primary duties and Responsibilities will be:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, sales expectations, and budget estimations, in collaboration with engineering leads and stakeholders.
- Team Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment with project goals, deadlines, and quality benchmarks. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles throughout the project lifecycle and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and promptly address any deviations from the plan.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, considering the skill sets and availability of team members. Anticipate resource requirements and make necessary adjustments to optimize project efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that engineering deliverables meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement rigorous testing and validation procedures to validate product performance and reliability.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and maintain financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle. Identify cost-saving opportunities and track project expenses against budgetary constraints.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and technical specifications. Prepare comprehensive project reports for senior management review.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team. Solicit feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for optimization and implement process enhancements accordingly.

We believe the successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of SolidWorks, JDE ERP Software, and Smartsheet a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $79,000 in our lowest market up to $85,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
