Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet established quality standards before they reach our customers. This role involves performing various tests, inspections, and audits throughout the production process to maintain quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test products for defects and/or deviations from specifications. Report problems that arise with products, testing procedures, or personnel.
- Ensure outgoing products are free of defects and are produced according to internal and external company guidelines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors regarding all aspects of the job.
- Offer solutions where possible within the scope of the duties of the job. Provide complete, accurate documentation when required.
- Uphold company standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency.
- Support special projects requested by Engineering, Marketing, and other departments.
- Perform cross-functional tasks within the company as required. Task examples range from event setups to tasks/projects such as fiscal year-end inventory and holiday season drop ships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
