Responsible for recording daily financial transactions, updating a general ledger, and preparing trial balances for perusal by accountants. They maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance. They monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in making strategic decisions. Bookkeepers may also assist in running payroll and generating invoices.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing different customer/vendor accounts
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying, and allocating transactions
- Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
- Assisting in financial activities such as generating invoices and applying payments
- Data Entry
Qualifications:
- Must be very familiar with Quickbooks
- An associate degree or higher is preferred, but we will not preclude those without a degree
- Previous bookkeeping experience
After the initial training/trial period is over, worker will be afforded the opportunity to work 1 - 2 days a week remotely.
All employees begin with 15 days of PTO and 5 sick days. Very flexible with holidays, summer friday's, etc.
