- You’ll directly supervise classroom staff, including coaching, observation and feedback.
- You’ll coordinate support services for children and families to help their development towards school readiness.
- You’ll build relationships with families, and help encourage them to be involved in the Head Start Program.
- You’ll monitor classrooms and delivery of educational services, making sure performance standards and licensing regulations are met.
- You’ll coordinate team meetings with classroom staff, Family Advocate and other support staff.
- You’ll maintain reports, records and documentation.
- Per Head Start Program Performance Standards 1302.91(e) and the Head Start Act section 648A(a)(3)(B)27:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent course work with 2 years' classroom experience and supervisory experience. OR
- An associate degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent course work with 6 years' prior classroom and 2 years' supervisory experience is preferred.

Potential Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4:30pm Friday 8am – 12.
