RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for all market sectors
- Perform both structural design and analysis calculations for structural steel, concrete, masonry, timber, aluminum, and light-gauge steel
- Interact with architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients
- Provide direct onsite engineering assessments and field observations
- Resolve design and construction conflicts through construction administration
- Manage and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- Looking for professionals in the range of 10-15 years of civil experience as an engineer with a focus on the design of structural infrastructure
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Code (IBC)
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with RAM Elements, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, Etabs, or similar analysis software
- Advanced Structural Engineering: FEA, post-tensioning, progressive collapse, blast analysis/design
- Knowledge of processes of governing permitting agencies such as building departments and/or environmental agencies
- Understanding of other disciplines such as architecture, site civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, fire protection, geotechnical, surveying, and environmental
- Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management
- Sound communication skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass Air Force background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
