Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in personal injury law and a strong passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys, handle a diverse caseload, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake to resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorney to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction
- Stay current with developments in personal injury law and legal best practices
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of one year of experience practicing personal injury law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and professionalism
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting
- Experience with a case management software
