Job Description:
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Regional Accounting Manager will help Heartland Home Services coordinate and manage your regional accounting team’s workload while continuously assessing and prioritizing invoice processing requirements to ensure invoices are paid to vendors or paid by customers timely and accurately. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that accounting processes are in place that align with internal/external rules and regulations. You will also be responsible for working directly with the Regional Controller to identify, develop, and implement accounting best practices in your region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily processing of the regional accounting team to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and coach your team to ensure the highest level of quality.
- Ensure accountability within your team, mentor and continue to grow their skills.
- Oversee all monthly close procedures including monthly recording and reporting of all accounting activities.
- Regularly present analysis and reports in an easy-to-understand format.
- Review and approve various entries, monthly schedules, and spreadsheets for account reconciliations.
- Manage all internal/external audit requests.
- Review and post vendor invoices and payments and customer invoices and cash receipts.
- Manage Regional Accountants to establish priorities, set objectives, and provide guidance and feedback to the brand.
- Provide accurate, on-time income statements to General Managers at the brand level.
- Ensure that state and federal income tax reporting is accurate and current.
- Maintain consistent and streamlined recruiting practices for your region.
- Shape company culture by carrying out Heartland values surrounding ethics and integrity.

Compensation
- Salary = $80,000 - 100,000 annually, paid in weekly increments
- Potential Manager's Bonus up to 10%
- $30,000 Life Insurance and AD&D provided by the Company
- Long-term & Short-term disability provided by the Company
