Line Puller/Loader/Material Handler
Job Description:
1. Perform daily checklist before operating lift trucks.
2. Reports all equipment issues or concerns immediately on checklist and to the supervisor.
3. Pull material from the assigned production conveyor.
4. Inspect material according to the LaGrange Look and Feel Standard.
5. Bay locates the rolls to correct storage bay using a Scan gun.
6. Check for empty Gaylord boxes to be removed and material at each machine.
7. Remove bales from the basement.
8. Check floors 2 and 3 to remove empty Gaylord boxes.
9. Make sure the assigned production line has all necessary raw goods to run when called on the radio.
10. Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the area and warehouse.
11. Interact professionally and in a courteous manner with all personnel.
12. Follow all safety guidelines.
13. Addressing all issues in a timely manner and to the satisfaction
14. Representing LaCosta in a professional, reliable, and integrity-based manner always.
15. Identify and improve upon opportunities to increase the efficiencies and productivity of operations.
16. Actively participate in correct and complete tie out communications with incoming shift change.
17. Other duties as assigned.
Loader
1. Perform daily checklist before operating lift.
2. Reports all equipment issues or concerns immediately to management.
3. Safely and efficiently moving product within the warehouse to include product locating, loading, and unloading of trucks.
4. Verifies documented information when loading or unloading trucks.
5. Helps to maintain housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
6. Assuring all customer needs and expectations are met.
7. Performing to established measurement performance goals assigned through KPI’s.
8. Set daily plans in place to assure efficient operations in all areas of the warehouse to include, clerical, staging, shipping, receiving, putting away of product, correct paperwork processing, timely yard checks and efficiently utilizing warehouse space.
9. Interact professionally and in a courteous manner with all truck drivers and other personnel.
10. Always maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
11. Assure the quality integrity of the product both in location and when processed for orders.
12. Assuring all team members adhere strictly to customer quality and safety guidelines.
13. Addressing all issues in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer
14. Representing LaCosta in a professional, reliable, and integrity-based manner always.
15. Developing all team members skills and utilizing team members to effectively perform every day.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Safety - Demonstrate safety leadership by conformance and adherence all safety rules. Ensure accountability of total team. Ensure incidents are immediately reported and investigations are completed in a timely manner. Possess the energy and initiative to confront and correct unsafe conditions and/or unacceptable behavior.

7. Housekeeping - Ensure World Class housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
8. Human Resources - Provide opportunities of situational leadership and encourage crew members to step up and step out. Ensure overtime, time-off and shift swaps are handled fairly and according to guidelines. Continue personal growth and development.
9. Asset Management - Coordinate machine start-up, shutdown, grade changes, machine upsets, PM, trials. Participate in planning of machine activities. Ensure process checklists are completed and non-conformances are properly addressed. Ensure process changes are noted. Ensure effective use of crew time in order to achieve agreed upon performance

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
