JR Systems Administrator

Job Summary
The Junior Systems Administrator's role is to assist in the stable operation of the in-house and cloud-based systems. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing end-user hardware and software. The Junior Systems Administrator will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist System Administrators with the management of our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Entra,
- Assist System Administrators with maintaining Cisco/Meraki devices.
- Assist with management of warehouse scangun fleet.
- Manage backup, storage and recovery procedures.
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and requirements.
- Assist with maintaining VoIP system.
- Provide end user support for the organization.
- Manage and document asset inventory.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in 3rd party software, aligning with company security policies.
- Provide assistance with day-to-day user end helpdesk support tickets.
- Assist with Management of Company owned mobile cell phone fleet.
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Systems / Networking / User-End Support
- Bachelor's Degree in technology related field preferred
- Experience in Citrix, VMWare, and NetApp, Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory/Azure, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint
- LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco and Meraki, VPN, and network security
- AWS
- Configuration and support of Intune Environment with Apple Business Management
Job Location
- Lansing, IL
- Full Time Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturdays

Salary
- Starting Rate Based on Experience
- Minimum starting rate of $55,000
Requirements:
