Lead Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for children in the daycare setting.
- Provide instruction and guidance in various subjects, including physical education, math, and child welfare.
- Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and social development.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Implement behavioral health strategies and techniques to support children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to address individualized needs of children in the classroom.
Experience:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Child Development Associate Credential
-High School Diploma or equivalent with a plan of study leading to Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or Child Development Associate Credential.
- Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with behavioral health strategies and techniques for supporting children with special needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of children in the classroom.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
