Schneider is the market leader in multi-axis CNC processing equipment for the manufacture of optical lenses. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Job Description: Working under general and remote supervision
· Commission new equipment at customer site to optimal performance
· Diagnose and troubleshoot machine and process issues remotely
· Provide field service, diagnostic and repair of equipment on customer’s site
· Provide technical and process phone support for customers
· Coordinate parts orders, software support, and other key support needs
· Train customers on site in general maintenance and operation practices
· Road Warrior with the love of travel (up to 70% weekday travel in peak times)
· Accurately and Completely Report and Document all actions

· 100% new customer satisfaction through complete machine commissioning and interactive customer training
· 100% continued customer satisfaction through accurate diagnostics and precise repair
· 100% customer compliance through thorough pre-visit verification, on-site checklist, post visit documentation and follow-up.
· 100% company compliance through dependability and commitment to company processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Experience to read and understand electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings
· Experience diagnosing control systems, drive systems, PLC systems, and PC systems
· Experience in mechanical system replacement and precision alignment
· Optical Process knowledge (Ophthalmic Industry) experience a definite plus.
· Only candidates with clearly demonstrated credentials should apply.
· Must be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds independently to move, remove and place machine components.
· Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
· Must be able to walk, climb stairs and ladders, lift, stoop, squat, kneel and have full normal range of motion and dexterity in order to perform all mechanical task related to the service and installation of machinery from above, beside and below and in confined spaces.
· Must be able to hear audible defects and abnormalities in machine performance.
· Spanish speaking a definite PLUS
