Location: This role will be remote in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii

Salary Range: $75k - $90k
Summary:
The Program Manager, Learning and Development will be integral to the Trevor Project, responsible for the development journey of all Trevor staff, from onboarding programs, to conducting annual performance reviews, to managing ongoing development projects within the organization. By providing staff with best-in-class coaching and development opportunities, the Learning and Development Program Manager will contribute to the growth and retention of our staff who work to end suicide among LGBTQ youth every day at Trevor.

Continually grow your LGBTQ competency and awareness

Develop and manage initiatives regarding professional development for individuals and teams including, but not limited to Performance Conversations, Career Pathing, Succession Planning, company and department specific training courses, and compliance-required training events, to engage and enhance job performance

Establish learning and development practices, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with Company's values and purpose, strategy, and business needs

Design and develop effective learning materials and experiences utilizing a variety of media/various modalities (e.g., instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led, e-learning manuals, and workshops)

Facilitate advanced learning and development programs across the Company, including planning, administering, and evaluation

Partner with leaders across departments to develop cross-functional training and development programs on topics we have internal expertise on

Manage a professional development budget

Own existing and build new relationships with external professional development partners, e.g. LifeLabs Learning, Linkedin Learning and more

Align leadership and other stakeholders across the organization on staff development priorities, including manager development

Ensure training and staff development are aligned with labor relations and union employees
-
Develop and maintain learning and development communications to ensure employees are informed of training events and resources

Conduct follow-up surveys of all completed learning programs to evaluate and measure results and modify programs as needed

Manage Onboarding programming, including 90 day check-ins and feedback facilitation

Build and continually update internal tools that measure program effectiveness

Partner with the People Operations Services team to apply performance development knowledge to performance improvement plans (PIPs)

Build and identify metrics of success to measure performance of developed programming and areas of improvement

Act as a coach and cheerleader for our staff as they move through their development journey at Trevor

Demonstrated experience of successfully building and delivering training and professional development initiatives that are fit for purpose and future; for both organization and staff, incorporating feedback, opinions, and approaches to ensure a holistic approach.

Proven ability to approach and deliver all work and interactions with empathy and inclusion, including success in building and fostering relationships with cross-functional teams and individuals at all levels, working closely with colleagues to brainstorm ideas, discuss pros/cons, and develop ways forward with mutual understanding and trust.
