Position: Rodbuster Foreman

Job Description:
Loenbro is seeking experienced, skilled Rodbuster Foremen for projects located in the Billings, MT area. The Foreman is responsible for supervising and managing rodbusters and laborers to ensure work is done to our safety and quality standards. Must have advanced knowledge of the rebar construction process, with the ability to read drawings and run a crew.
Job Duties:
- Read and understand shop drawings
- Perform jobs on their own
- Assist workers in their duties
- Inspect the quality of all work to ensure it is done to our safety and quality standards
- Space and fasten rods in forms per approved blueprints using wire and pliers
- Position and secure rods in concrete forms using fasteners and hand tools
- Operate power tools
- Comply with safety standards and training requirements
- Space and fasten together rods in forms according to blueprints, using wire and pliers.
- Place blocks under rebar to hold the bars off the deck when reinforcing floors.
- Cut and fit wire mesh or fabric, using hooked rods, and position fabric or mesh in concrete to reinforce concrete.
- Position and secure rods in concrete forms using fasteners and hand tools
- Operate power tools
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities

Skills/Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Rodbuster Foreman \ GF
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints and detailed drawings
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Potential Hazards:
- Outside the majority of the time
- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
- Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment
- Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels
- Limited working surfaces
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks
- Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
- If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Essential Requirements:
- Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day
- Standing
- Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
- Use of respirator if position requires
- Driving if required to travel
